fast track updates

It's been a while since we were ''funked'' on the blog. It is our view that we shouldn't post something that we don't feel positive about it 100%, just for the sake of posting. We can't deny that we haven't gone through some rough waters during the last days, however it is in our nature to ''keep on walking''.

  •  Easter came on time, however without escorts...vacation was declared missing and the ones who managed to get some days off when they returned to their jobs they found out that vacations were permanent for them
  • Crisis or not, paying 4.50 euro for kilo of green peppers is robbery. Wait a minute, actually it can be labeled as armed robbery.
  • The election period feels the same as the ones of the past, same strategy towards the wider public.Would that be the reason that the bouncers permanently surround politicians even at the toilet?A message for our Primos...The activities that officials have done here make the safari of Juan Carlos look like a child's play
  • The music festivals are starting around the city and out of it... be alert
  • Now that good weather is a permanent deal consider going outside the city of Athens. In about an hour drive you could go to Loutraki for example and enjoy the sea, the food and the fresh air. That is just a suggestion in case that gas will not be still higher than gold. We will post shortly some tips about that
  • It's not just the crisis of cash, that is the front window of the store...what about the rest of what is going on in the back?
  • Lately, more people are protesting through facebook and twitter....we are not sure that the guys from the parliament are that high-tech
  • Traditional professions are coming back quicker than the speed of light. I don't know about you but i am thinking of fishing on an nice island.Old is gold...

be safe and restless

fast track updates

  • Death in Vegas are playing live at Fuzz club on the 11th of May and John Digweed at Blend club on the on the 26th of May. Don't forget about Parov Stellar Band on the 27th of April at Votanikos
  • No ships again for tomorrow and no Ktel buses (the ones that go to other cities) on Thursday. You're not laughing now about the bicycle era that we were talking about for the past couple of months, are you?
This cat knows how to survive
  • The only living creature that is not bothered by the crisis is our cat. As you see she keeps finding new stuff to wear. By the way...that mating season we were complaining about.... is ongoing
  • No more petrol imports from Iran. The same goes for Spain (no worries primos we'll cry on each others shoulder) and shortly for Italy as well. Things are getting better and better...
  •  At the moment we are during the period of Easter. The tradition indicates to cook lamb however according to the market sales chicken will be this year's superstar....
  • The famous and trendy series ''Game of Thrones'' is back again. Season 2 devours everyone in its way and makes them its zombies

Take care and be safe

we want summer back *part 2*

*pics taken by us in the islands.*

Urban Stock Market

    • Although the crisis is at its best, the interest rates of gambling (especially online) grow high. Hope is selling more than food
    • Now is the best time to buy water shares. According to experts water will be as expensive as champagne. I don't know about you but we are already filling empty bottles
    • If you can find a site that offers bets on police brutality go for it. We do have a tip that will get you money. They will definitely have a place in the next Guinness book .We are certain that they can do so much more than smashing the head of the photo reporter (Marios Lolos) couple of days ago. We are assuming that they operate based on instinct because the poor man was just taking photos. Someone said that the next protest will be something to remember...
    • The Eurogroup suggested that taxes in Greece should be at the same level with the rest of the northern European countries. That sounds fair to us...as long as salaries are the same as well. Guys what about the sea?is it fair to be free?or even the islands, we should pay a visitor tax there as well...or even a breathing tax could be helpful for the reforms, after all people pollute the air. And by the way... 2 euro for a litre of gas is too cheap...make it 5 euro and let the horses come back...that's what we call a modern, reformed, solid and...eco Europe. Make love not taxes

    can anyone take us there?

    Apolis, our proper gateaway

Sunday was the kind of day that  i needed to collect whatever was left of me from Saturday night. I knew i had to be brave but my eyes were on a strike refusing to open and be impaled by the rays of light. Although my head was a bit fuzzy, i decided to get out of bed. After 5 seconds i got back in and did that about 3 times until i realized that i am at the point of crossing the line of a possible psycho crisis. First step was complete, i skipped breakfast because i had a very annoying taste of sand that came over anything i wanted to eat so i dressed in slow motion and crawled outside to drink a huge coffee that would resurrect me. After 15 minutes of useless attempts to think of a place that could actually let me observe the city from somewhere  above (like an observer ...sort of) it came to me.....Apolis in Petroupoli.
Apolis is the kind of place that offers you a great view of the city while drinking your coffee. It is a cafe-restaurant so if you get hungry you can have a snack or get some proper food. It is a cozy place and really nice even if you don't get the ''front seats''. A freddo cappuccino is about 3.60 euro, so prices are the same as in other cafes and even cheaper. I actually thought that it would be more expensive since you have that fantastic view but i was wrong. I liked the tents they have over some tables in case of too much sun but who would want to sit there on a sunny day apart from....me.
Apolis is a place to see, no question about that and if you don't like it, we will give your money back...

    Coffee : Refreshing
People : Under the sun we are all the same (i guess..)
    Location : Near Petroupoli park
    W.C : Safe
Service : Cool , he understood that i wasn't too social so thumbs up for that
